Butterfly Project

For Sammie's birthday this year she received a butterfly house/project from Uncle Mike and Aunt Rachel.  You get the house, then send away for the caterpillars and transfer them in cocoon phase to the house and wait for them to hatch.

The Fence - Progress

Remember our summer project? Ok, Nathan’s summer project? The fence. Yes. The fence. Nathan and my dad have been laboring at this fence now since the last weekend in June, it has been slow, it has been hot, it has not been easy, but it is getting done. Both of them were absolutely thrilled when we had a bunch of help come to assist the last weekend in July. Our friends Mike and Ben, our neighbors Neal and Dave, and my sister Karen all came over to pitch in a hand or two to get things steam rolling. You can imagine the difference all that extra help provided! Thank you ALL for your help!

Here’s the progress they were able to make:

And here is all they have left. They have most of the posts in already, just a matter of putting in the panels and then all three (yes three) gates. Woohoo!!!
